Klackle Orchards' owners to retire; farm's future uncertain

EUREKA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — The fate of a fall hot spot near Greenville is up in the air after the owners of Klackle Orchards announced they’re retiring.

The announcement came Tuesday morning on Klackle Orchards’ Facebook page. The owners said they will retire in spring after more than 40 years in business.

“When we started this adventure in 1978, there is no way we could have imagined all that it would become,” the owners stated on Facebook.

They also thanked their longtime staff and loyal patrons.

“While we aren’t sure exactly what is next for the farm, it has been an honor to be a part of so many family traditions throughout the years and we will treasure the memories we have created with all of you,” the post added.

Klackle Orchards assured visitors its Cornucopia Farm Market will be open through Dec. 15.
