MONTCALM TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A farmer took a big hit Wednesday when a fire gutted a building holding his trucks, tractors and other equipment.

Crews took the first call just before midnight. At least nine fire departments responded to the fire at Greenville Storage LLC, located at the former Ore-Ida warehouse on Vining Road near Peck Road in Montcalm Township, about 3 miles north of Greenville.

Dispatchers tell 24 Hour News 8 no one was injured. However, The Daily News of Greenville reports the fire destroyed the building, including a large storage container holding equipment owned by farmer Paul Main.

Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
