BIG RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities say they have identified the suspects in the theft of a TV from a Walmart near Big Rapids.

It happened 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Walmart on Perry Avenue in Big Rapids Township. The Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office says a man took a 55-inch TV and sound bar.

Authorities say he got into a light green Jeep Liberty that had two women in it. The Jeep almost hit several other cars as it left the parking lot and was last seen headed west on Parry toward US-131.

On Tuesday evening, the sheriff’s office released surveillance photos showing the suspect.

On Wednesday, authorities said they had gotten several tips about the suspects’ identities. They said those names would be released after the suspects are arrested and charged.

The sheriff’s office thanked the public for the help.
