Lowell Police: Man behind lewd photos to teens enters plea

LOWELL, Mich. (WOOD) – A Wyoming man accused of performing a sex act on himself in front of two teenage girls may spend the rest of his life in prison.

According to the Lowell Police Department, Daniel Richard Young, 49, pleaded no contest Monday to indecent exposure by a sexually delinquent person.

The 16-year-old and 18-year-old victims told police Young performed the sex act in front of them while at their home in Lowell. The victims also told police he sent pictures of his genitals to both of them.

Young was arrested in March 2015, police said.

He was originally charged with six felonies, including two counts of indecent exposure by a sexually delinquent person, distributing sexually explicit material to children, using a computer to commit a crime, aggravated indecent exposure and violating probation. Under a plea deal, he entered a no contest plea to the single felony charge, which carries a sentence of up to life in prison.

Young is expected back in court June 2.
