VICKSBURG, Mich. (WOOD) — The collapse of a silo caused a massive grain spill and forced an evacuation in Vicksburg on Thursday.

It happened Thursday afternoon at H&H Feed and Grain Inc., near the intersection of W Avenue and Portage Road.

The collapse of the silo caused a large dust cloud and forced an evacuation of people in the area due to the threat of a dust explosion, according to a South Kalamazoo County Fire Authority Facebook post.

Authorities haven’t specified what caused the silo to collapse.

There were no injuries reported in the incident.
