MARSHALL TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A crash involving a car and a semi-tuck left one person dead and shut down a stretch of I-94 near Marshall for a time Friday evening.
The eastbound lanes at I-69 in Marshall Township shut down around 7:30 p.m. One lane reopened after about an hour, but it wasn’t until around 11 p.m. that all lanes were moving freely again.
The circumstances leading up to the crash are not yet known.
The ramp for southbound I-69 to eastbound I-94 was also shut down. It’s unclear if that was related to the crash.
