No one injured in Kellogg plant fire

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — No one was injured after a fire broke out at the Kellogg Company plant.

A cereal dryer caught fire around 7 p.m. Monday at the plant located at 425 Porter Street in Battle Creek, according to a Battle Creek Fire Department news release.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the dryer and quickly put out the flames.

Plant workers were evacuated from building and no one was injured during the incident, the release said.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by plant officials, according to the fire department.
