KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Bronson Methodist Hospital will not have any surgeries Thursday or Friday after a fire.
Carolyn Wyllie of Bronson Hospital Communications says a sterilization machine started on fire Wednesday night inside the surgery sterilization area.
Wyllie says the fire caused smoke and water damage inside the Kalamazoo hospital. No one was injured in the fire, Wyllie said.
She says all the surgeries that were planned at the hospital for the next two days are being rescheduled or relocated.
