Marshall teacher charged with CSC

MARSHALL, Mich. (WOOD) — A Marshall Public Schools teacher was arraigned on several charges of criminal sexual conduct Wednesday.

Jason Bushong, 33, is facing three counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Bushong was charged for alleged incidents involving him and a 16-year-old female student in Marshall and Bedford Township.

Authorities seized electronics and other items related to the investigation while executing a search warrant at his home.

He is being held at the Calhoun County Correctional Facility.
