KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Police are looking for the two men who robbed a Kalamazoo bank at gunpoint Friday morning.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. at the PNC Bank branch on Stadium Drive east of S. Drake Road. No one was hurt.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety said two men, both of whom had small-caliber handguns, demanded money.

One of them jumped over the front counter to grab cash from the drawers. The other stayed behind the counter and kept telling the teller to give him money. It’s not yet known how much they made off with.

They took off on foot headed north. Police brought in a dog, which tracked the robbers to nearby Debbie Lane, but didn’t find them.

Police released surveillance images from inside the bank, hoping the public would help identify the robbers. Anyone with information is asked to call KDPS at 269.337.8139or Silent Observer at 269.343.2100.
