KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Police in Kalamazoo arrested two men in connection to robbery at a gas station Wednesday.
The robbery happened around 2:45 a.m. at a gas station in the 3500 block of S. Sprinkle Road near I-94 in Kalamazoo. The suspect suggested he had a weapon but did not show it, according to a Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety news release.
The suspect was able to get away with a cash register with an undisclosed amount of cash.
After getting surveillance footage, investigators identified a suspect vehicle seen leaving the scene.
The vehicle was found around 4 a.m. parked in a driveway in the 100 block of E. Stockbridge Avenue in the city’s Southside neighborhood. Inside the house, officers found a man matching the description of the robbery suspect and a second man identified as the getaway driver.
Both men were arrested and lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail on armed robbery charges.
