COOPER TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Kalamazoo County authorities are investigating a crash that seriously injured a good Samaritan who stopped to help others involved in a separate crash.
It happened around 6:05 a.m. Tuesday on N. 12th Street between West D Avenue and West B Avenue in Cooper Township, northwest of Kalamazoo.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office says the good Samaritan had stopped to help people in a vehicle that had rolled onto its side when the pedestrian was hit by a car. The good Samaritan was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities reported multiple crashes in that area.
