Deputies seek 2 in hit-and-run after fight over package

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two teenagers who hit someone with their car after a struggle over a Fed Ex package.

It happened around 11 a.m. Wednesday in the 5500 block of Sierra Madre Trail in Texas Township, southwest of Kalamazoo.

Deputies say two males in their late teens got into a brief struggle with the victim over the package before they hit and injured the victim with their car.

The suspects’ vehicle, a silver 2008 Chevrolet Impala, was last seen heading toward S. 6th Street. Deputies say it has a cracked front windshield and no hub caps.
