OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Kalamazoo County authorities say a person of interest in a pair of bank robberies was on parole for a 2009 bank robbery in Kalamazoo.

Daniel Richard Lee is wanted for violating his parole.  He’s a person of interest in the robberies of a Battle Creek Comerica Bank on July 27 and an Oshtemo Township Chemical Bank four days later.

In both crimes, the suspect was armed. In the Battle Creek robbery, he was driving a white four-door sedan with a hubcap missing on the front driver’s side.

Detective investigating the Oshtemo Township crime say the suspect could also be connected to an armed robbery in Texas Township.

Lee, 42, is white, approximately 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. He has reddish blond hair and blue eyes.

There’s a $5,000 reward for information leading to Lee’s arrest. Anyone with information in this case is asked to call the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office at 269.383.8748 or Silent Observer at 269.343.2100.
