KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A Kalamazoo man wanted in connection to a Comstock Township stabbing is in custody, authorities say.

The suspect was arrested Tuesday at Sherwood Forest Mobile Home Park in Kalamazoo Township’s Lakewood Neighborhood, the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department said.

Investigators believe on Feb. 13, he stabbed a 25-year-old Kalamazoo resident at a home in the 5500 block of Electra Street. The victim’s condition is unclear.

Authorities are withholding the suspect’s name until he’s arraigned on a charge of assault with intent to murder. It’s unclear if he is the same Kalamazoo man named as a person of interest in the case — 38-year-old Justin Donovan.
