KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people were sent to the hospital Wednesday morning after a pickup truck crashed into a Kalamazoo home.
It happened around 9:30 a.m. at a home near the intersection of Burdick and Emerson streets.
The driver was leaving the Salvation Army parking lot on Burdick Street when he crossed Emerson Street and ran into the home. An officer on scene said the driver had a “medical episode” that caused him to hit the accelerator.
The driver and a passenger were taken to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries. No one was in the house at the time of the crash.
