2 arrested after Kzoo bank robbery

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Two people have been arrested after a bank robbery in Kalamazoo Tuesday.

It happened at Tuesday afternoon at the Huntington Bank located on 4300 W Main St. in Kalamazoo.

Police said the robbery was unarmed and the two suspects were found a quarter-mile north of the bank. When they were discovered by police, the suspects took off on foot before being found again with possession of evidence from the robbery.

Police aren’t looking for any more suspects.

Kalamazoo Central High School was placed on a precautionary lockdown following the robbery, which has been lifted.
