ROCKFORD, Mich. (WOOD) — A Rockford couple who gained national attention after welcoming their 14th son will make their Lifetime Network debut Tuesday night.
The network followed the Schwandt family as they prepared to welcome their 14th child earlier this year.
Kateri and Jay Schwandt chose to wait to find out the baby’s gender until birth, so the documentary catches the moment everyone found out he was a boy.
The Schwandts were interviewed on NBC’s “Today” show shortly after Finley was born in April.
The baby boy’s middle name is “Sheboygan,” as in “she is a boy again.”
In an interesting twist, the couple’s eldest son broke the family’s streak this summer when he welcomed a baby girl.
The Schwandt family’s series, titled “13 Sons & Pregnant,” airs on Lifetime at 10:30 p.m.
