ADA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities are looking for the man who robbed a gas station in Ada Township Thursday evening.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Department said the robbery happened around 7:30 p.m. at the AGO gas station on 7100 E. Fulton St.
Authorities say the robber threatened to shoot the clerk if she didn’t give him the money from the register, though he didn’t actually show a gun. The clerk gave the man the money in a brown paper back. He left the store and was last seen heading around back.
The sheriff’s office described the suspect as a black man standing around 6-foot-1 and weighing about 200 pounds. He was wearing a dark jacket, dark jeans and a hooded sweatshirt. He was covering his face.
