Police seek suspects in attempted jewelry store robbery

GRANDVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) — Police are searching for the suspects in the attempted robbery of a Kent County jewelry store.

It happened around 8 p.m. at the Jared jewelry store located at 3610 Rivertown Pkwy. in Grandville.

Police said two men entered the store, smashed a jewelry case with a hammer and damaged another before fleeing the scene.

Police said both of the suspects were wearing ski masks and fled the scene in a dark SUV.

There weren’t any injuries and nothing was stolen in the incident.
