WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — Police are looking for a suspect after they allegedly threatened another person with a weapon Saturday night.

Around 8:30 p.m., officers with the Wyoming Police Department were sent to the 1800 block of Prairie Parkway SW after receiving reports that one person was being threatened by another with a weapon.

The police department said the tactical and SWAT teams were called with a search warrant for the suspect.

Around 10:20 p.m., there was a large police presence in the area, including Wyoming police officers and Kent County deputies.

Police said the victim was not hurt.

Officers are still looking for the suspect.

The case remains under investigation.
