CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — The Gerald R. Ford International Airport announced that it will be adding its 26th nonstop flight.
Frontier Airlines will start nonstop flights from Grand Rapids to Phoenix-Sky Harbor International (PHX) and Tampa International (TPA), according to a Ford Airport news release.
The new Phoenix flights will depart on Monday and Friday, starting on Nov. 16. The nonstop flights to Tampa will depart on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, starting on Nov. 15.
Frontier Airlines also offers nonstop flights from Grand Rapids to Denver, Orlando, Fort Myers and Philadelphia.
The Ford Airport said the Phoenix-Sky Harbor announcement marks the third new destination served from the airport added so far this year.
