LOWELL, Mich. (WOOD) — The 27th annual Christmas Through Lowell shopping event is being held this weekend.
The unique shopping experience features over 300 artists and crafters selling their goods along the city’s historic Main Street.
It’s also a chance to help small business owners.
Tonia North, who owns North Star Antiques, says the event is a lot of work that ends up paying off for everyone involved.
“We’re putting in 10, 12 hour days to get ready for this event, and the crafters and the people in their homes do the same kind of thing,” she said. “People don’t realize the amount of work that goes into it, but it’s a labor of love.”
The event runs through 7 p.m. Saturday and will take place Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
