GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A car crashed through the front of a Grand Rapids business Thursday afternoon.
It happened around 1:50 p.m. Thursday at the Qik N Ez, located at 1001 Fulton West.
An employee was the only person inside the store at the time of the crash.
“I was standing behind the counter. I looked up, and her she comes through the window. I think she hit the gas instead of the brake, is what it looked like to me. But she’s OK, thank God. Nobody was in the store, but it was just scary, seeing it happen live,” the worker said.
The impact of the crash shattered the glass on the business’ storefront.
The 87-year-old driver was treated at the scene.
