Vehicles hit by gunfire in southeast Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police are searching for suspects after multiple vehicles were hit by gunfire on the city’s southeast side.

Police told 24 Hour News 8 they responded to the 900 block of Warden Street SE near Franklin Street SE after receiving calls of at least a dozen gunshots at 4:20 a.m. Monday.

Officers said they had problems in the area all weekend.

Police say while multiple cars were damaged, there are no victims at this point and no reports of stolen property.
