GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A West Michigan-based furniture company says scammers had impersonated them and posted deceptive job postings on multiple websites.
Steelcase said on Twitter that in some cases, fraudulent job opportunities were offered to obtain money and personal information from people interested in becoming an employee.

Company officials say they are addressing the situation “through the appropriate channels.”
On its website, the company notes Steelcase employees involved with hiring will use an @steelcase.com email address.
Officials say all employment opportunities are listed on steelcase.com/careers. If a position is not listed there, it’s not a legitimate opportunity, the company says.
