GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Plainfield Avenue in Grand Rapids has reopened following a crash involving a Rapid bus.
The crash happened around 7 a.m. on Plainfield Avenue at I-96, east of the Fuller Avenue intersection.
It’s unclear what led to the crash.
Grand Rapids Police Lt. Terry Dixon said there were no reports of injuries on the bus, but did not know if anyone inside the vehicle was hurt.
Both directions of Plainfield Avenue were closed at I-96 for nearly two hours as authorities worked to clear the scene. The road has since reopened.
