GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Police have identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Grand Rapids’ north side Monday evening.
Treven Potter, 18, of Rockford, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Plainfield and Fuller avenues NE.
Police say Potter was headed north on Plainfield Avenue when he was hit by a southbound car that turned left onto Fuller Avenue in front of him.
The driver of the car, a 25-year-old woman from Grand Rapids, is cooperating with investigators, according to a release from the Grand Rapids Police Department. Neither Potter’s speed nor alcohol appear to be factors in the crash, which is still under investigation.
