GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police are investigating after a man showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound Sunday.

The Grand Rapids Police Department said the man’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police said the man reported the shooting happened around 12:40 a.m. near the intersection of Boston Street SE and Calvin Avenue SE.

The vehicle that brought the victim to the hospital was reported stolen and left before officers arrived, according to the police department.

GRPD added that details were limited because the man was not cooperating with the investigation.

It’s unknown what led up to the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.
