GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police are looking for the driver who ran away after a crash Thursday afternoon.
It happened around 4:30 p.m. on Wealthy Street SW at US-131. A passing ambulance stopped at the scene and the driver then called 911.
The Grand Rapids Police Department said that after the two-car crash, one of the drivers ran away down nearby Commerce Avenue, leaving his car behind.
One person sustained minor injuries.
Wealthy Street was shut down in both directions while police investigated and crews cleaned up.
