Disney on Ice presents Frozen comes to Grand Rapids

Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Disney on Ice presents Frozen is coming to Van Andel Area in Grand Rapids for eight shows.

The show will capture the dynamic between two sisters, Anna and Elsa. Anna embarks on a journey to find her sister, the magical Elsa, who is trying to remain secluded and finally test the limits of her powers. Mountain Man Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, the lovable snowman Olaf  help Anna along the way in this story about love conquering fear.

Audiences will get the chance to sing along with catchy tunes “Let it Go,” and “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?”

Other Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Disney princesses will make an appearance.

The set design is said to be an experience in itself from the ice to the air. Families will feel that they are trekking up Mountains with Anna, Kristoff and Sven, and experience the storm inside Elsa. Elsa’s magic will be enhanced by state-of-the art special effects, and her emotions will be conveyed through powerful skating.

Disney on Ice presents Frozen will perform at Van Andel Arena through Sunday, March 3.

Tickets for Disney on Ice presents Frozen start at $15 and can be purchased at the Van Andel Area and DeVos Place box office, or charge by phone at 1.800.745.3000.
