GRAND RAPIDS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) – A former Rockford Public Schools rowing coach charged with several felonies has admitted to videotaping females as they undressed, court documents show.

Timothy Vallier, who used to be the men’s rowing coach for the district, was arraigned Monday in 63rd District Court on two counts of using a computer to commit a crime, possessing child sexually abusive material and child sexually abusive activity.

Court documents show Vallier admitted to police that he put the camera in a place where it would record female athletes changing their clothes – something he said he did multiple times over several years.

Vallier also admitted he possesses videos of other females changing their clothes, according to the documents.

Vallier was fired by the district after district officials were contacted about the camera. He’s expected back in court on July 22 and is being held in jail on $100,000 bond.
