(WOOD) — Voters in nearly a dozen districts will narrow down the race to replace the Michigan House of Representatives.
Tuesday, voters in 11 Michigan House districts headed to the polls to determine which Democratic and Republican candidates would move on to the general election.
Candidates for another 11 West Michigan districts ran uncontested in their parties and will move onto the Nov. 8 general election.>>MAP: Find your Michigan House district

66th District
The 66th District consists of Van Buren County and Alamo and Cooper townships in Kalamazoo County. One winner from each primary will continue on to the November general election to succeed Republican Rep. 72nd District represents Kentwood and Gaines Township in Kent County and the northest corner of Allegan County, including Wayland. One winner from each primary will face off in the November general election to succeed Republican Rep. The 86th district includes the eastern portion of Kent County as well as Belding and Ionia. The winner of the Republican primary will face Democrat Lynn Mason in November.
