GRAND RAPIDS CHARTER TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Power has been restored to the East Beltline after a blown transformer caused an outage Wednesday morning.

More than 250 people lost power on the East Beltline between Cascade Road and Knapp Street in Grand Rapids Charter Township, according to the Consumers Energy outage map. Some traffic lights were out in the area as well. Whenever traffic lights are out, drivers should treat it as a four-way stop.

The outage happened around 7:30 a.m. and power was restored about two hours later, according to the Consumers Energy outage map.
