WAYLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — Michigan State Police believe the people who stole a pair of commercial grade lawn mowers from an Allegan County business may be responsible for other crimes in West Michigan.
The thefts happened at an equipment dealer in Salem Township, northwest of Wayland.
Troopers say the thieves took two commercial grade, zero-turn lawn mowers — one was Spartan brand, the other was Ferris.
Investigators believe the crime may be related to similar thefts in West Michigan, but they did not elaborate.
