DETROIT (AP) — Carbon monoxide poisoning is being investigated as the possible cause of death after the bodies of four males were found in a west side Detroit building.
Detroit police spokeswoman Jennifer Watson says the bodies were reported just before 1 p.m. Wednesday and that it appears a gas-powered generator was being used at the building.
She says the males were employed by a tow truck company. Their ages and what they were doing at the building was not immediately known.
Wayne County medical examiner’s office spokesman Ryan Bridges says that as of 2 p.m. Wednesday their investigators had not been notified of the deaths.
