1 hospitalized after 2-car crash near Holland


HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — One man sustained serious injuries in a crash north of Holland Wednesday.

The crash happened shortly before 1 p.m. on James Street near Kamar Drive in Holland Township.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said a westbound Chevrolet Tahoe was turning left into a private drive when it collided with an eastbound Hyundai Elantra.

The driver of the Elantra, 59-year-old Gary Holt of Holland, was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Tahoe, a 36-year-old Holland woman, was not hurt.
