Women’s heart health month: why we wear red


One in three. That’s the price women pay for cardiovascular disease. While nearly 80% of cardiac events can be prevented, cardiovascular diseases continue to be a woman’s greatest health threat, claiming the lives of 1 in 3 women.

Today, is National Wear Red Day and the American Heart Association is asking everyone to wear a touch of red today to spark a discussion about Women and Heart disease. Here to talk to us more about this is Jeanne LaSargeBono of the American Heart Association.
