Wendy’s and Helen DeVos team up to keep kids warm this winter

This week, we’re enjoying some beautiful fall weather. but we all know what’s next…. cold, snow, and the long winter chill. Warm jackets, hats, and gloves are a necessity. But there are a lot of children who don’t have them and a lot of stressed parents who can’t afford to buy them for their kids. There’s a campaign kicking off next Monday that will help. It’s called Coats for Combos and it’s through participating Wendy’s restaurants.

Coats for Combos kicks off in one week, next Monday and runs through Sunday, November 11th. More than 80 Wendy’s restaurants in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana are helping out. Any customer who donates a new or gently used children’s coat will receive a coupon for a free combo on their next visit.

And then, on November 12th through the end of December, guests who donate $1 at Wendy’s to support Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital will receive coupons for free fries, chili, and drink on their next visit.

The goal is to donate $100,000 to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital next year, more than $2.5 million has been collected in the 20 years of this campaign!
