Candlelight and Prayer Vigil Honoring Victims of Crime

  • April 11th, 2019  6:30 pm
  • Kent County Court House
  • 180 Ottawa Ave NW
  • Light refreshments afterwards at the GR Chamber of Commerce

This 30-minute vigil will include community members praying for our children and the safety of the community.  The event will include several speakers:  Kent County Sheriff Michelle LaJoye-Young, Kent County Prosecutor Chris Becker and Jerline Riley, a Grand Rapids resident who lost her son to homicide.  Additionally, the names of victims of crime will be read out loud, so anyone wishing to submit their name or a loved one’s name should email info@silentobserver.org with that information by April 5.
