Spend spring break in Traverse City


TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (WOOD) Spring break will be here before you know it and if you’re not headed someplace warm, there are fun things to do just a couple of hours north.

Grand Traverse Resort and Spa is teaming up with the wineries of Old Mission Peninsula for a wine dinner on Saturday, April 9. There will be music and food and wine pairing with wines from eight of the wineries on the peninsula. The wine dinner kicks off at 7 p.m. You must be 21 or older. Call (231) 534-6000 for reservations. The dinner is $75 per adult. Overnight packages are also available.

There’s also something fun for parents and kids. The pool at Grand Traverse! The resort is offering spring break specials starting March 22 until April 10. There are also other activities like tennis for adults and kids.

The resort offers child care for adults who want to visit the spa to relax and unwind. It offers a wide array of massage therapies, skin care, and treatments that will help you de-stress, de-toxify and rebalance your body. The spa is open seven days a week.

Easter is special at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. Come on March 27 for the Easter brunch at the Aerie Restaurant located on the 16th floor of the tower. Brunch is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes a carving station, omelet station, and a dessert bar. Adults are $29.95, children are $14.95, and children under five are free.
