Spectrum Health discusses racial equity in healthcare


GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – On Monday, the nation will be celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Spectrum Health has scheduled many activities for employees and also is encouraging others to learn about racial disparities in our communities and the ongoing work toward greater equity, especially as it pertains to our healthcare.

Joining us with a preview is Spectrum Health’s Chief Diversity Officer Ovell Barbee and Dr. Lisa Lowery from Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
