Pamper yourself at home

If you’re feeling stressed out, you might be in need of a day at the spa or you  pamper yourself at home. Today Suzannah Barrie from Barrie Beau Herb Farm is sharing some of the recipes and products.

SPA WATER

  • 2 to 3 liters quality filtered water
  • Add and combine any of the following: cucumber, lemon slices, strawberries, watermelon,
  • apple slices, fresh ginger slices, mint, basil, tarragon, cilantro

SPRING ROLLS

  • Rice paper wrappers
  • 1 large bowl very warm water
  • ¼ cup pickled ginger, julienne
  • ½ cup mint, holy basil, cilantro mix
  • 1½ cups fresh greens
  • ¼ cup chopped scallions
  • ¼ cup shredded carrot
  • 1 tsp. Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp. Herb vinegar
  • Pepper to taste

Mix greens together with the other ingredients and add the oil, vinegar and pepper tossing

lightly. Immerse one wrapper in the water for 20 seconds or until it becomes limp, then carefully

transfer it to a plate. Layer greens on wrapper. Fold one corner up over the greens, fold in the

two adjacent corners and roll up the wrapper enclosing the filling. Repeat with remaining

ingredients. Chill briefly.
