Do you ever wonder where all your money goes? Well, getting on the right budget can go a long way. Scott Dobson from Consumers Credit Union is here to show us the ins and outs of money management.
Begin by tracking your spending, then organize your expenses into categories and balance your income against your expenses. There are a number of calculators and tools online, including at Consumerscu.org, that can help assist you in this.
They also have a great new widget in our Online Banking platform called Money Management that is free for members to use. It lets you see all your financial accounts in one place and has a variety of visual graphs and maps to help you see where you are spending.
One of the core charities Consumers Credit Union supports research for multiple sclerosis (MS). Their organization has been involved in MS Walk and MS Bike events for years and years.
Both the Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids Walk events are May 19 and the Bike event is June 9-10 in Holland.
