It seems that life’s biggest and best celebrations involve cake! You know, birthdays, weddings and anniversaries. And while lots of places bake and sell cakes, there are some that just rise above the rest. Today, we’re highlighting one of them, Nothing Bundt Cakes.
Nothing Bundt Cakes is a community favorite, the cakes are delicious and this family owned business has a growing reputation for giving back. We recently visited the bakery for a closer look!
Scott and Christine Vogel say they welcome people in for samples, they know that when you try their cake, you’re hooked!
During ArtrPrize, they have some special things happening, they have a stand with Bundtlet cakes right in front of the Grand Rapids Public Museum, with part of the proceeds going to the museum.
And just yesterday, they held a huge Cake Walk at Ah-Nab-Awen-Park in Grand Rapids to set a world record. Everyone who participated got cake and part of the proceeds go to Kids’ Food Basket. They broke the record for the World’s Largest Cake Walk. They had 500 participants and unfortunately had to turn people away.
They’re also tied into one of this year’s ArtPrize entries, with Consumers Credit Union and Kids’ Food Basket. That entry is near Fulton and Ionia Avenue in Grand Rapids.
