GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOOD) What do a famous comedian and a zoological veterinarian have in common? We’re about to find out as we connect this week’s GR Reads book selection to a big event featuring a guest from John Ball Zoo.
Summertime is the perfect time to sit back, drink some iced tea, and read a good book. That’s why summertime is GR Reads time. This year Grand Rapids Public Library staff have picked ten books that are sure to keep you reading (or listening) right through to September. Their 29 events give you something new to do every week – and all are free! Why not check them out?
One of the books, “Modern Romance” by Aziz Ansari and Eric Klinenberg. Author, actor and comedian Ansari teams up with sociologist and co-author Eric Klinenberg to talk about the trials and tribulations of dating in the modern world.
