Funding the future, without fear

The State of Michigan has kicked off a new campaign to help thousands of Michigan residents with disabilities and their families save money now and for the future. Here to tell us more about  MiABLE is Scott deVarona.

There is now a way for people with disabilities to save for their future, without fear of losing their much needed government benefits. It’s a special savings account that allows residents to have more than $2,000 in assets without losing their government benefits such as Medicaid and Supplemental Security Income.

The program is called Michigan Achieving a Better Life Experience or MiABLE for short.
