GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Aging is something that happens to everyone and at some point, many of us start thinking about that next phase of life. Sunset Retirement Communities goes above and beyond to help people know when it is a good time to start thinking about entering a senior living community.
Making the move to a senior living community involves a lot of different questions. Sunset has a wide range of care levels including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing care, rehab care, home care, and hospice. Knowing what’s appropriate and when is the right time is a big question. The staff at Sunset is holding a series of events to help educate the community about each level of care, what it entails, and how much they cost.
The Continuum of Care seminars are September 20 at 6:30 p.m. at Waterford Place and October 25 at 6:30 p.m. at Sunset Manor and Villages. Both are located in Jenison. RSVP to Andrea at (616) 457-2770 if you’d like to attend.
Sunset has a fun event coming up that is open to the public. A Classic Car Show will be held at Sunset’s Rose Garden Community in Grandville. It’s from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on August 31. There will be cool cars and free popcorn and ice cream.
