All month long we’ve been discussing Mental Health and how we can do more to recognize problems and help our loved ones. Today we’re discussing the 4th step of the be nice. Action Plan, “empower”. Joining us now in studio is Christy Buck from the Mental Health Foundation along with Monica Meinzer and Sandy Bartosiewicz from West Michigan Community Bank.

Many of us spend a quarter of our lives in the workplace every week. Monday through Friday we may spend more waking hours with our coworkers than with our families. Job satisfaction depends on a variety of things like work-life balance, work demands, the support you receive while doing your job along with rewards and recognition. In exchange, organizations rely on a productive and engaged workforce to stay competitive.
