GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – With the kids back in school, and in the age of COVID-19, there are lots of special considerations for parents.

Kate Campbell, a nurse practitioner at the Allendale University of MI Health West location, has great advice for parents.   Most important is frequent hand washing, distancing and mask wearing for the kiddos regardless of vaccination status to protect everyone.  Keep on the lookout for these symptoms: fever, chills, vomiting, shortness of breath and loss of taste and smell.
